Typography plays a core role in helping us leverage our brand’s unique voice.

GT Super – Text is our primary typeface for headlines. When individuals first meet Aptive, it’s by way of GT Super. It conveys a sense of warmth, strength, and reassurance that we want people to associate with our brand. GT Super is the result of thoroughly studying dis- play serif type from the 1970s and 80s. Its expressive and unique calligraphic motions produce stable typographic shapes and a differentiated voice.

Designed by Noël Leu (Grilli Type) with help from Mirco Schiavone & Reto Moser.

Rand is our primary typeface for body text. It’s the workhorse that carries the responsibility of delivering Aptive’s core messages. Born out of intensive research done on the grotesque genre, Rand provides organic texture and balanced rhythm to match the nature and neighborliness of Aptive.

Rand Mono is our primary typeface for call-outs, technical information, and subheads. This style was chosen as a perfect compliment to Rand and the vital role it plays. With its shortened cap- itals and carefully crafted proportions, Rand Mono completes the Rand type family by extending its range of uses.
